- Deposit is to paid within
2 weeks of booking and final payment 2
weeks prior to arrival date.
- The house is to be
vacated by 9:30am on the day of departure.
- Tenants are to leave the
house as clean as they found it as it
makes it easier for the cleaners,
especially during busy changeovers, so the
next tenant can move in as soon as
possible.
- All refrigeration to be
turned off and cleaned out.
- All rubbish to be taken
away on departure to either the dump or
the bins on the beach at Waddy Point.
Off Peak Months:
Weeks in February and November only. This
house will be available for $1100 per week and
a nightly rate of $200 with a minimum of 3
nights.
What to Bring:

Scott's House is an open plan, large,
well set-up solar powered house with ocean and Waddy
point Views and whales can be seen from here in
season. A large verandah around 3 side of this house with a gate to close it off
makes it ideal for children and there is a B.B.Q. on the
verandah with a table and stools. The verandah has a
300cm overhang to give maximum shade and rain
protection. While parents sit on the verandah and relax the
children can play safely with no worries of where the children are.
There is a well
equipped kitchen with a 470 Litre capacity
refrigerator. TV has local and remote reception plus a
DVD player. We have undercover parking with all
weather access to the house.
In the laundry there is 368 Litre Freezer and Front
Loading Washing Machine.
This house has 4 carpeted bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Bedroom 1...............queen bed and an ensuite
Bedroom 2...............queen bed and an ensuite
Bedroom 3...............1 set of bunks and 1 single bed
Bedroom 4...............2 sets of bunks
This house sleeps a maximum of 11 persons.
The laundry is downstairs with a front loader washing machine and a large
deep freeze.
Upstairs the kitchen/lounge/dining room make up 1 large room. There is a
large fridge/freezer in the kitchen area and a TV in the lounge area.
Absolutely NO extra
plug-ins eg hair dryers, toasters, irons etc.. If
for some reason anyone needs extra refrigeration they
cannot plug any into the house, but they can bring a
quiet generator themselves to run it. If you try to
plug anything else in you will lose power.
Note:
All houses are Solar/Generated Power and you can not bring any more refrigeration or any other heated element items to plug into the house power.
If you do, you could be asked to unplug any items that draw too much power so as to make the generators run long hours or in some houses you will run out of power till the sun puts more solar back into the batteries.
